The company was founded in the mid-seventies thanks to an idea of Teresiano Facchinetti who, after several years of experience as a specialized welder, decided to accept the new challenge of designing and manufacturing machines for the dairy sector.
The presence in the same geographical area of main Gorgonzola producers, pushed Teresiano to invent first machines for piercing and salting this kind cheese. .
In the twenty years that followed, Facchinetti Srl became a leader in the sector of machines for Gorgonzola cheese, also registering some patents (i.e. gorgonzola / mascarpone automatic layering machine).
At the end of the 80’s, the Gorgonzola sector began to be saturated and so the company expanded its range of action, developing projects for new machines suitable for many other types of fresh, aged and semi-aged cheeses.
The company began a few approaches on some international markets (Switzerland, France), but it was only at the end of the 90’s that it decided on a real internationalization strategy, thanks to the arrival of Silvia, the only daughter of Mr. Teresiano.
A travel and foreign cultures lover, Silvia began to create a network of partnership with foreign operators, making the Facchinetti machines known throughout Europe, Russia, the Middle East and even overseas (Australia, USA, Canada, Brazil, Colombia, …).
Despite the untimely death of Mr. Teresiano, in April 2020, the company continues its business with the dynamism and passion that have always distinguished it on the market.
